Job Overview:

The role of Junior Architect provides graphical and technical support to design teams in the firm. Junior Architects must possess strong interpersonal and time management skills, along with a passion for gaining new knowledge and skills within the architectural field.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Survey existing structures and convert into existing condition drawings.
• Conduct and produce thoroughly researched zoning reviews.
• Produce digital models throughout the design process.
• Utilize AutoCAD to draw details, plans and elevations per design team instruction.
• Utilize Adobe Suite, such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, to produce design presentations.
• Print drawings and prepare design presentations.
• Assist project teams in any additional tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in design studio preferred.
• Proficiency in the following software preferred: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
• Ability to manage time and open communication with team members.
• Inquisitive and motivated for continuous improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
